Cleveland Park Drainage Improvements

Client: DDOT

Practice Area: Water & Sewer Infrastructure

Connecticut Avenue is a high-volume, multi-modal principal arterial that runs north-south through the northwestern quadrant of Washington, DC to Montgomery County, Maryland. The corridor has experienced pedestrian safety and operational issues that were highlighted in the 2013 Cleveland Park Transportation Study, which provided specific recommendations for site improvements. The site has also experienced drainage issues caused by flash flooding. This effort includes analysis and design of streetscape and ADA/pedestrian safety improvements, as well as addressing existing drainage issues within the project limits.
